WCIRB CompEssentials Offers Support During California Stay-at-Home Order

As a show of additional support to the California workers’ compensation community, the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) announces a reimbursement program for customers who purchase and pass WCIRB CompEssentials® courses during the Governor’s California stay-at-home period (effective March 19, 2020 until the Order is lifted). Visit the WCIRB CompEssentials web page for details and to register for courses.

“While we stay safely in our homes, we want to encourage all industry professionals to enhance their workers’ comp knowledge in order to better serve their customers in the future,” says WCIRB Outreach and Education Director Cheena Malicki.

In addition to reimbursing CompEssentials registration fees, for those who complete all four courses, the WCIRB will waive the fee associated with achieving WCIRB CompEssentials certification during the California stay-at-home period, regardless of when they purchased their four courses. (To earn WCIRB CompEssentials Certified status, you must complete all four CompEssentials courses, culminating in passing the final exam for each course.)

For more information, visit the WCIRB CompEssentials web page, and email training@wcirb.com with any questions.
