Classification and Rating Committee to Meet April 14

Due to the COVID-19 crisis and Gov. Gavin Newsom’s stay-at-home order, the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) Classification and Rating Committee will meet at 9:45 AM on April 14, 2020 via webinar teleconference. The meeting is open to the public. 

At the meeting, the Committee will review the following:

  • Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
    • Claims Reporting and Experience Rating
    • Impact on Basis of Payroll
  • 2021 Changes to Expected Loss Ranges
  • Hard Copy Policy Reporting Requirements
  • Payroll – Remuneration: Overtime
  • Draft Study of Assignments to Standard Exception Classifications
  • Proposed Non-Substantive Amendments
